StartupHub: Meetup 1.0 “How to Start a Student Startup”

 

Meetup 1.0 by StartupHub with a title “How to Start a Student Startup”, has been held on Thursday, February 27th 2020, at 09.00 AM and was located in the Auditorium (5th floor) of Faculty of Communication and Business. This event was started with some greetings from Ade Irma Susanty, Ph.D, as the Dean of the faculty.

There were some speakers in this event, Mr. Taufan Umbara (Head of StartupHub.id), Agung Irianto (Founder of FOTA), Dyan R. Helmi (Coordinator of 1000Startup Bandung), furthermore the student startups Firza M. Nasution (CEO of GoniGoni) and Rizsa El Akbar (CEO of Ketringan). Moderators of this event were Kristina Sisilia (Head of Business and Operational Division of StartupHub.id) and Robbi Hendriyanto (Head of Startup Division of StartupHub.id).

In that event, there were explanations about the startup world, including the biggest startups in Indonesia. When the participants entering the auditorium, there were a lot of student startups that were opening stands to show their creations. There were also stands that, at a time, offer their products for sale.

There was also a guest from the Netherlands, it was Mr. Ton from the PUM (Netherlands Senior Experts) Organization that was attending the event. Moreover, Mr. Ton also had a campus tour with the Dean of the faculty, Mrs. Ade Irma Susanty around the Faculty of Communication and Business building, including the Open Library of Telkom University. After attending the Meetup 1.0 event and having a campus tour, that guest from the Netherlands also visited the Bandung Techno Park building in the area of Telkom University.
